Xperia Duo has a 4.5 inch wide LED backlit LCD capacitive touchscreen and displays images with its 16 million colors. Having a pixel resolution of 540×960, it can display images with great clarity. The phone has a very good screen and is operated by new technologies used Sony Ericsson in its phones. Well the difference here is that all the features and technologies previously used in the previous Sony Ericsson phones has been used in this new Xperia Duo.
This new phone is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual core Qualcomm MSM8260 processor. It runs on the Android version 2.3 Gingerbread and combined with 1.5 GB of RAM, no doubt this new phone is built for performance. In short, this kind of specifications makes Xperia Duo just short of a fully fledged computer. Apart from this, you can also expand the memory up to 32 GB through microSD cards.
Xperia Duo is equipped with a 12 MP rear camera that take super sharp images with whopping 4000×3000 pixels resolution and records videos at 1080p. The front 1.3 MP camera could well be used for video calling as well. Connectivity options are abundant as you will get connectivity through Bluetooth version 2.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n network and access to internet from Wi-Fi hotspots. Xperia Duo is 3G and 4G enabled, so you can well expect fast internet browsing capability. Now, if this phone comes with so many high end features then it needs to have a powerful battery to support them all and so Sony Ericsson put in a 2500 mAh battery. Unlike other phones which have Li-ion batteries, Xperia Duo has a Lithium polymer battery and these kinds of batteries are used in laptops.
